I have been working partly as a product manager with a telecom value added service equipment provider. Even though most of the product management happens at headquarter, I take care of the product management for the requirements raised by Indian telecom operators. But the challenges that I face are
- Maintaining a roadmap acceptable to the customer as well as to the headquarter (HQ)
- Making sure the requirements raised by regional customers gets the same attention by HQ and it get implemented timely
With VAS market changing very fast, maintaining planned roadmap and the software version management is really a challenging one. Anyone got any better suggestions on handling this?
